Christmas Wreath

Good Morning on this very wintery day!

Today I would like to share a Christmas Wreath I have made to feature on the Do Crafts Blog.  Each year I love to add to my decorations and always try to have a few home made items that match the decor.  This year I chose to use the Do Crafts Home For Christmas range papers as I adore them, it must be the only paper pack that I have used up completely!

To find out how I made this visit the Do Crafts Blog.

Take Care and Happy Crafting xx

Back To The 80's

Being part of the Do Crafts Creativity Club has so many advantages but one of the biggest must be the amount of downloadable papers you can chose from.  Not only that but each week the fabulous people at Do Crafts add more to it!

This week they added the 80's Retro papers and I knew I would have to use them to scrapbook pictures of my eldest daughter Annabelle.  I made this page to feature on the Do Crafts Blog.

She loves to pose as you can see!

Annabelle is at her happiest when looking in the mirror and spends most of her time doing so!!

All of the papers here are downloaded and they are so bright and vibrant they only need  small amount of embellishments added.  I have simply added a large flower inked at the edges and a couple of black bows.

Creativity Club goes Black & White

Last week Do Crafts creativity Club released their new download and it was all Black and White.  Gorgeous patterns and very on trend.  First of all I was going to create a male card with these papers but somehow I ended up adding colour to the cards and giving the majority of them a feminine touch!

All the cards are made using 4" x 4" white card blanks, X cut dies and embellishments from Do Crafts. These would be great for Thank You cards to use after Christmas or as a set to give as a gift for Christmas.

There are so many downloads to choose from over at the Do Crafts Creativity Club and all this for only £24 a year.  To find out how you can join simply visit here.

Good Morning,

I am here to share with you my final card using the Patterns To Love paper from Do Crafts Creativity Club.  To create this card I have used Daily Sketch 107.

The background is made using the new border dies from Do crafts, which are so gorgeous I want to start putting borders on everything!!

If your not already a member of Do Crafts Creativity Club you can find out more about it here.

I have just downloaded my next lot of papers so I am off to play.  I will be back soon to share them no doubt!!

Simply Love ...

Good Morning,

The card I am sharing with you today is a fairly simple but effective card that I have made using the free downloadable papers from Do Crafts Creativity Club.  The papers are called Patterns To Love and I showed you a peek of them a couple of days ago in my Daily Sketch post.  The blue, Grey and White in these papers make fantastic winter projects and although they are fantastic for Christmas projects they can be used for so many occasions.

These papers go so well with Kraft card and the Brown string gives the card a really rustic feel to it.  The design on the paper is simply too pretty to cover up.

The nesting dies I have used are from Do Crafts as is the Kraft Card, Brown string and adhesive stones.

Do Crafts Creativity Club Sketch Of The Day

Being part of the Do Crafts Creativity Club means not only do you get access to hundreds of downloads but you also get a sketch available to you everyday to help you in those moments of creative block!

The card I am going to share with you today is a daily sketch that I recently download combined with the fantastic new downloadable papers - Patters To Love.

I am constantly amazed at how using a sketch can make you think in a way you would never normally think!

This card is an 8" x 8" size and I have used the Do Crafts Nesting Dies to cut the scalloped circle and circles.  The pattern papers you see are the downloadable papers and if ever there was a reason to join the Creativity Club this is it!  These papers are just amazing!

To find out more about Do Crafts Creativity Club visit The Website.

I will be sharing more projects made using these papers later on in the week, so keep checking back to see what else can be made using these papers.

Don't forget I am giving away a 6 month membership to the Creativity Club to one lucky follower as soon as I reach 100.

Tulip At Christmas.

The cute little character Tulip from Do Crafts returns with a Christmas theme.  The colours in this collection are wonderful with a mix of modern and traditional.  Here is a card I have made with the latest Christmas products.

I used Sketch Of The Day no 96 from Do Crafts Creativity Club as my inspiration for this card and I am so pleased with the results it gives.  I have used the Tulip Cardstock Stickers, Tulip Paper Pack and embellished the card with Green Rhinestones.  You get so much in these packs, more than enough to make a whole range of Christmas cards, so with that said I am off to make some more!!

Halloween Cupcake Toppers...

As part of the Do Crafts Creativity Club you get access to hundreds of free downloads.  This week I have used the Halloween download to create these spooky cupcake toppers.  I have simply cut around them using my circle nesting dies and then mounted them onto a scalloped circle, added a lollypop stick and used some ribbon to embellish.

The photographs didn't come out that great, unfortunately by the time i noticed this the children had already eaten the cupcakes!  But it shows the general idea.

Just a note that if you are making these, remember to add a scalloped circle to the back to cover up the stick as people will see the back when they are in the cupcakes.

Downloads at Creativity Club...

Being a member of the Do Crafts Creativity Club certainly has a lot of perks but one of the biggest has to be the amount of downloads you get access to!  There are literally 100's of them, in fact the biggest problem is deciding which one to use!!  Today I decided to download the Ellie's World downloads as the cuteness of it really caught my eye!

I have used the purple card from the Papermania pack as the background for the Scalloped Oval and also to mat and layer the patterned paper.  I am pleased with the results of this and am sure it would bring a smile to any little dolly lover!

Pocket Card...

For anyone who is lucky enough to be a member of the Do Crafts Creativity Club they will know this is the latest free download and what a fantastic one it is too!  If you are not yet a member the good news is you can become one simply by following my blog.  Just see the post at the top!  For more information on becoming a member visit the Creativity Website here.

Anyway, onto my latest creation using this download:

This download not only comes with these gorgeous papers but it is also packed with elements for you to use on your creation.

I have left the top of the pocket unstuck so that a gift card, money or a little treat can be added to make this a fab card to give.

I adore the colours this download comes in and feel the red just adds to the brightness of it.

Creativity Club Daily Sketch

Good Morning,

Today I would like to share a card with you that I have made using inspiration from the daily sketch over at the Do Crafts Creativity Club.  Each day a new sketch is posted and I have to be honest and say it is not something I have used before I became a member of the Creativity Club, now I cannot wait t see what the sketch is each day as it gets me creating cards I would not normally create.  It is great for broadening your crafting horizons!

Here is the card I made using Daily Sketch no 87.

I have used the Papermania Home For Christmas papers to create the circles, and Kraft card for the Scalloped circles behind them.  The Holly is stamped from the Urban Stamps Home For christmas, which I stamped onto while card stock using black ink and then coloured using the Artist pens. I have then cut around the leaves and added red stones as the Holly Berries.  The Holly tends to give the card a softer feel and I have used this in a few of my Christmas projects this year.
The sentiment is also from the Urban Home For Christmas Stamp Set and again I have coloured in the words, this time on the actual stamp itself using the Artist Pens.

I had great fun making this card and will be using this design again for another occasion.

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day x

You and Me

The most recent download for the Do Crafts Creativity Club is called You & Me and it has a pretty country bird theme all in lovely pastel colours.

Here is a card I have made using the You & Me downloads.

The Birdcage is one of the new dies from Do Crafts and I have cut the birds out of the paper and added them on top with a 3D effect.  The flowers, rhinestones and ribbon are all from Do Crafts.

The new Christmas papers are out from Do Crafts and I must say they have excelled themselves this year.  The Home For Christmas range is so on trend and looks like something that could be found in our favorite furniture store!!

Here are a few cards I have mage using them:

I will be making lots more of these for family and friends at Christmas!

All of the products used can be found at http://www.docrafts.com.

I am so excited to announce...

I am really happy, excited and incredibly flattered to be offered a place on the Do Crafts Creativity Club Design Team.

For those of you that don't know the creativity Club is a members area of Do Crafts where you can download great projects, chat in the forum or browse the back issues of Creativity Magazine.

Here is a card I have made using a couple of downloads.  I have used the Owl Pastels Part 1 and 2 and the Round Sentiments which are so handy for so many cards.

Recipe & Method:

1.  Cut and score a white C5 size card.

2.  Mat and layer Turquoise Cardstock, then Brown Cardstock.

3.  Print and cut the Turquoise paper out from the download and layer onto Yellow Cardstock.

4.  Colour and cut the owl digi stamps and adhere to the card.

5.  Print and cut the sentiment and attach to a Green scallop circle.

6.  Add the ribbon and stick the sentiment to the left hand side of the card.
